COLBAR Healthcare Solutions was built on a passion for healing and a vision for community empowerment. Founded by Dr. Sherwonna Barron, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, FPA, COLBAR began as a MedSpa focused on IV hydration, vitamin therapy, and holistic wellness services designed to support both body and mind.

Dr. Barron’s journey in healthcare education began in 2010 when she founded Collins Certified Nurse Assistant Training Program, an IDPH- and ISBE-approved school that helped aspiring healthcare workers start their careers. That early experience laid the foundation for what would later become COLBAR’s School of Allied Health, which now offers CNA, LPN, and Phlebotomy programs centered on hands-on training and career development.

What started as a wellness-focused MedSpa became a comprehensive health and education center. Today, COLBAR Healthcare Solutions provides primary care, substance use treatment, MedSpa services, and career-focused training — all under one roof.
